AlHijjah 15, 1436, September 29, 2015, SPA -- The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning of The Sudan and the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) signed here today two agreements. Following the signing ceremony by the Vice President and Managing Director of SDF Yousef Al-Bassam and Sudan's Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Badraddin Mahmoud, which was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Mualla, the Minister of Agriculture of Sudan Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dakheeri and Minister of Petroleum Mohammed Zayed Awad, Al-Bassam said the first agreement states the provision of petroleum ingredients worth $100 million and the other states the provision of agricultural production items in the amount of $75 million. He noted that SDF has provided Sudan with finance of several projects, particularly in the economic and investment fields, citing dams construction and energy projects.
