The Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been briefed on new designs of the Saudi currency and the second issue of the Saudi coins. This took place at Al-Safa palace in Makkah last night when the monarch received Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance; Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) and Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Firaih, Deputy Governor of SAMA. The news designs and the second issue of coins of the Saudi currency included portraits of the new expansions of the two holy mosques, some landmarks of the Saudi renaissance, prominent Saudi historical antiquities with most security guarantees. The audience, then listened to the instructions of the king on the pillars that should be included in the new issues. The reception was attended by a number of princes.
