The total amount of money allocated last year by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) for projects and development programs exceeded more than SR 2571 million included 23 development projects and programs in 20 countries across the world. The aim of the SFD's financial assistance and funding of development projects and programs is to help many countries and their peoples as a result of the continued support of the Government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This was announced by the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf in a speech he delivered while presenting the SFD's annual report for 2014 of which Saudi Press Agency "SPA" has received a copy.
