Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB) has signed a number of financing agreements to contribute to funding new development projects in a number of member states, on the sidelines of the 40th annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the IDB held in Maputo, Mozambique, it was reported here today. The total of these financing agreements, which will be provided by the affiliated institutions to the IDB, amounted to 1224.8 million US dollars. The beneficiary states of these financing agreements included Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Oman, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Somalia.
