Majlis Al-Shura has highly valued the selection by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz as Crown Prince, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as Deputy Crown Prince, praising such good choice by the wise leader who has worked since taking the reins of government in the country to consolidate the Saudi ruling house on firm and well-established foundations and rules that take into account the high national interests and the political, economic and security stability. In a statement issued in its 5th regular session held on Monday under the chairmanship of its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura stressed its pledge-allegiance to Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz as Crown Prince and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as Deputy Crown Prince on the book of Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It also said in the statement read out by Majlis Al-Shura Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amr at the beginning of the meeting that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was keen, by his wisdom, administrative experience, statesmanship, vision and deep in reading for the future and the challenges the Kingdom faces in particular and the region in general, on choosing leaders full of the spirit of youth, devotion and integrity that would help him to lead the country, promote its development in various fields, and achieve the aspirations of the citizens of greater stability, affluence and progress in all fields.
