Majlis Al-Shura Blesses Selection of Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz As Deputy Crown Prince

Majlis Al-Shura has blessed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the selection of Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the post of Deputy Crown Prince, and the continuation of his post as Second Deputy Premier.
On this occasion, the Council extended thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince on the issuance of the Royal Decree choosing Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Deputy Crown Prince, which reflects their keenness and interest in the stability of the nation and embodies their wisdom and foresight for the progress and prosperity of this country and its people so as to ensure its continuation on the foundations upon which it was established.
This came in a statement delivered by Majlis Al-Shura during its 25th session held today and was read by its Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amr.
