Majlis Al-Shura expressed its deep grief and sorrow over the death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud whose death represents a great loss for Arab and Islamic nations and the whole world. In a statement read by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh in its session held here today, the Council condoled the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier; and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior on the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Council pledged allegiance to the King, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince, wishing them every success to continue the march of the goodness for this homeland and its people. The Council commended the smooth transition of power in the Kingdom, according to the System of Allegiance-Pledge Commission based on the Statute of the Governance, and the principle of Shura.
