Organization of Islamic Cooperation demanded from the Security Council to move to achieve the aspirations of the Palestinian people in the independence of their state on the borders of the 4th of June with Alquds as its capital in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative. The OIC stressed that lack of accountability of any party using chemical weapons in Syria would detract from the standing, prestige and credibility of the Security Council and will help the Syrian authorities to proceed with its injustice and arrogance. This came in a speech by Permanent Representative of the kingdom to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Almoalimi before the Security Council on Tuesday on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the item about the situation in the Middle East. Almoalimi said, "I would like on behalf of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to welcome the decision of the State of Palestine to officially join the International Criminal Court and look forward to sister Palestine joining the United Nations as a full membership state," thus achieving a part of justice that it has been denied from over the past decades. --More 01:33 LOCAL TIME 22:33 GMT تغريد
