The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani called on the Ministerial Contact Group of the Organization on Palestine and the Holy City of Alquds to urge the permanent members at the UN Security Council to work for the council to move and issue its decision to end the Israeli occupation in a specified time frame and in accordance with international agreed terms of reference and push for the realization of the collective political will of the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 in order to ensure their application to the occupied land of the state of Palestine as well as the intensification of efforts with the Secretary General of the United Nations to enforce United Nations resolutions and its specialized agencies and demand to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in all the occupied territories.
