Al-Youm newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "Relations with Pakistan as historical and strategic" quoting Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif saying that Pakistan and the Kingdom has a historic agreement and strategic cooperation, and this agreement allows the Pakistani army to defend the Kingdom, its borders and the Two Holy Mosques. Al-Sharq newspaper said that United Nations Envoy de Mistura began his mission from the point, which caused the failure of the Geneva conference, and which is the desire of the Syrian regime to fractionate the Syrian issue and refuse to debate the transfer of power, noting that this position cannot be accepted by Syrians.
