Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region praised the statement issued by the Cabinet yesterday regarding the unfortunate events that took place in Qatif Governorate last week. He expressed in his weekly meeting on Monday his thanks and appreciation to the people of Qatif Governorate in general and Al-Awwamiyyah town in particular for their cooperation with security authorities which contributed to the speed of search and reaching and dealing with the criminals as should be, calling on media personnel to stay away from using some harmful words and phrases, stressing that security men are assigned to protect citizens everywhere and regardless of who are they.
