Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Group of Twenty Summit received today Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the twentieth summit currently being held in Brisbane, Australia. The Crown Prince held a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister, during which he congratulated him on assuming the premiership in India, stressing deep relations between the Kingdom and India. For his part, the Indian Prime Minister expressed his pride in the relations between the two countries, pointing to the Kingdom's great status and important role at the international arena. The meeting discussed a number of matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations and issues on the agenda of the Group of Twenty Summit. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor; Minister of Hajj and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Hajjar; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani; and Saudi Ambassador to Australia Nabil Al-Saleh. On the Indian side, it was attended by Indian Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh and a number of senior officials.
