Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Group of Twenty Summit received today Chancellor Angela Merkel of Federal Republic of Germany, on the sidelines of the twentieth summit currently being held in Brisbane, Australia. The Crown Prince held a meeting with the German Chancellor during which he affirmed the King's keenness on enhancing relations between the Kingdom and Germany. For her part, the German Chancellor sent her greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. During the meeting, they reviewed a number of regional and international issues, bilateral relations, and issues on the agenda of the Group of Twenty Summit. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor; Minister of Hajj and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Hajjar; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani; and Saudi Ambassador to Australia Nabil Al-Saleh.
