Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense and head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Group of Twenty Summit receivedd today President Francois Hollande of the French Republic, on the sidelines of the twentieth summit currently being held in Brisbane, Australia. The Crown Prince held a meeting with the French President during which he conveyed to him the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. For his part, the French President sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, expressing his pride in the King's wisdom and the Kingdom's role in the region and the world. The Crown Prince stressed the King's permanent keenness on enhancing bilateral relations between the Kingdom and France in various fields. During the meeting, they reviewed the agenda of the summit, bilateral relations between the two countries, and overall developments ans situations at regional and international arenas. The meeting was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member and Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor; Minister of Hajj and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Hajjar; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani; and Saudi Ambassador to Australia Nabil Al-Saleh. On the French side, it was attended by Minister of Finance Michel Sapin, and a number of senior officials.
