AlHijjah 15, 1435, Oct 9, 2014, SPA -- The director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Thomas Frieden said today that the Ebola outbreak is the biggest global health challenge since the emergence of AIDS. At a forum convened by the World Bank in Washington, doctor Freiden said "In the 30 years I've been working in public health, the only thing like Ebola has been AIDS," appealing to Presidents of West African countries hard-hit by the Ebola, UN and International Monetary Fund to closely cooperate to fight the disease.
