AlHijjah 1, 1435, Sep 25, 2014, SPA -- Tropical Storm Rachel is moving over open waters in the Pacific Ocean off Mexico's west coast, U.S. forecasters said Thursday. The storm's maximum sustained winds Thursday morning were near 65 kilometers per hour (kph), with slight strengthening expected during the next one or two days, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. Rachel was centered about 575 kilometers south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico and was moving west northwest near 20 kph, the NHC said.
