Faisal continued saying "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's position was and still is in support of the moderate Syrian opposition and the fight against terrorist groups on the territory of Syria. However, the battle against terrorism must begin with the elimination of unfair conditions that produced it in the first place. The first of these unfair conditions are the clogging of political horizon, an unwillingness to reach a fair settlement to the crisis in Syria, the continuation of Bashar Al-Assad's regime in its policy of killing, torture, siege and the use of explosive barrels against Syrian civilians. Yet, a lot of evidence indicate that the Syrian regime is the first stream to the emergence of terrorist "Daash" organization. He further said: "The Syrian regime has done its best to provide the appropriate environment for the emergence of terrorist groups. It facilitated to them having access to financial resources when it allowed them to take control of the oil fields and wheat, impose fees on border crossings and collect taxes from residents of areas under their control." The Minister of Foreign Affairs added that the corruption of the Syrian regime, loss of its legitimacy and its adoption of absurd policies of destruction have led to the elimination of the political and security institutions of the Syrian state and creation of a security vacuum which provided a favorable environment for the growth of terrorist groups not in Syria only, but the extension of these absurd terrorist groups' influence to Iraq where they seized control of the Iraqi territory bordering Syria to form a swathe with a connection between the two countries. May we find it soon in other neighboring countries. --More 12:27 LOCAL TIME 09:27 GMT تغريد
