AlQa'dah 4, 1435, Aug 30, 2014, SPA -- The pilot of a US military F-15C fighter jet was found dead Friday after a crash, the National Guard said, according to dpa. The Massachusetts Air National Guard's plane went missing Wednesday morning over western Virginia state. The Air Force said controllers had lost contact with the pilot after he reported an inflight emergency during a cross-country mission over Virginia's heavily forested Shenandoah Valley. The crash site was in a remote location. The pilot, who had 17 years of cockpit experience, did not engage his ejection seat before the plane crashed, military authorities said.
