Reina completes switch from Liverpool to Bayern Munich

contract with German champions Bayern Munich, dpa cited the Bundesliga club
as saying on Friday.
Reina, 31, passed his medical on Thursday but has now completed what
the club described as "final formalities" to conclude his switch from
Premier League club Liverpool. Media reports put the transfer fee at
3 million euros (4 million dollars).
With Germany keeper Manuel Neuer established as first choice under
coach Pep Guardiola, Reina is set to battle with Tom Starke for the
deputy role.
"I've come here because I want to win as many titles as possible,"
Reina told the club homepage. "I'm delighted to be coming to one of
the world's biggest clubs."
Reina spent last season on loan at Napoli in Serie A and has
previously played for Barcelona and Villarreal in Spain.
