Thomas Mueller struck the winner as Bayern Munich came from behind for a 2-1 victory at Hoffenheim Saturday to regain top spot in the Bundesliga. Bayern had to work hard for their ninth victory in 11 games, coming from behind for the third successive Bundesliga game to equal Hamburg's unbeaten record of 36 matches between January 1982 and January 1983. Hoffenheim took the lead in the 34th minute after Manuel Neuer fumbled a corner from Kai Herdling and Niklas Suele stroked the ball home at the far post. It took Bayern just five minutes to level when Franck Ribery's free-kick on the edge of the area was deflected in off Mario Mandzukic's thigh - the Croatian claiming his eighth league goal of the season. It was left to Mueller to grab the points for victory for Pep Guardiola's side in the 75th minute after Hoffenheim failed to clear the ball in their area.
