The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Campaign for Relief of Palestinian People in Gaza signed here today a joint cooperation agreement with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) to provide Ramadan food baskets and distribute them to the poor Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip at a cost of 2,025,000 Saudi riyals. In a statement following the signing ceremony, the new UNRWA Commissioner General Pierre Krenpol expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the campaign for the relief programs and projects being provided by the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that have contributed to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian refugees inside Palestine and the displaced of them in the neighboring countries through the Saudi relief committees and campaigns.
