The OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir met here today on the sidelines of the 41st Council of Foreign Ministers. The meeting was chaired by Amabssador Abdullah Allam, OIC Assistant Secretary General for Foreign Affairs and Representative of the Secretary General to Jammu and Kashmir. The member states of the Contact Group reaffirmed OIC's support to Jammu and Kashmir, calling for a peaceful solution to this conflict through negotiations and in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the principle of self-determination and human rights.
