The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has witnessed the largest movement of personnel promotions since its inception as 104 employees have been promoted to various ranks. This came in decisions issued during the third meeting of the Board of Directors headed by the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja on Wednesday. The board's decisions included approval of the modification of the name of vacant job at the Saudi Press Agency ranked (51) from the Director General of the Saudi Press Agency to the Vice-President of the Saudi Press Agency and the issuance of three decisions promoting jobs at the forty ninth and forty eighth ranks. President of the Saudi Press Agency Mr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein has issued approval of promoting (101) employees who met the criteria for promotion at the agency. President of the agency conveyed to the employees who were promoted congratulations of the Minister of Culture and Information and Chairman of the board of directors Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohiuddin Khoja who also wished them success. The president of the agency said that these promotions are among the tangible results of the decision of the wise leadership to convert the activity of the Saudi Press Agency to an administratively and financially independent public commission which has been reflected in the performance of the employees. The president urged all staff to redouble their efforts and dedication in performance, stressing that any distinguished effort by any employee at SPA will be taking into account.
