Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region and Honorary President of Charitable Society for the Holy Quran Memorization, patronized here yesterday the annual ceremony for honoring the memorizers of the Holy Quran at the level of Riyadh region. Addressing the ceremony, the Prince said that the Kingdom has adopted the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah as its constitution since its foundation by Late King Abdulaziz (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul) until this prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, noting that the Kingdom has been given care and attention to the Holy Quran. The ceremony was attended by Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thinayyan, Chairman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and President of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), and President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein.
