AlHijjah 16, 1433, Nov 1, 2012, SPA - The Holy Quran Memorization International Organization, an affiliate of Muslim World League (MWL), has highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the care of the Holy Quran, since its foundation by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul), until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who has provided generous support for the Holy Quran and its sciences. This came in a booklet issued by the Organization along with its 50th edition of periodical bulletin "Noor Al-Quran'' which included a number of topics related to the Award of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Memorization of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, his chairs for the Holy Quran and support for charitable societies for the memorization of the Holy Quran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Organization noted that the total number of male and female memorizers of the Holy Quran, who participated in its competitions since its inception 12 years ago has amounted to 400,151.
