The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his efforts in support of the United Nations in combating terrorism and the donation of $ 100 million to support International Counter Terrorism Center. This came during a meeting yesterday evening held by Ban Ki-moon with Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the start of Geneva 2 Conference in the Swiss city of Montreux today. The meeting discussed a number of issues including the peace process in Syria and the urgent need to end the Syrian crisis continuing over three years. The two sides also reviewed the developments in Yemen and welcomed the conclusion of Yemeni national dialogue, in addition to discussing the events in Lebanon and the need to support its stability.
