Batha Customs Foils Attempted Smuggling of More Than 17,000 Wine Bottles

Batha Port Customs officers have foiled the smuggling of a large quantity of liquor consisting of 17,880 bottles of wine hidden inside a fruit consignment.
Acting General Director of Batha Customs, Eid Al-Anzi said that after the arrival of the truck and subjecting it to a careful inspection, the liquor bottles were found hidden in the truck's refrigerator surrounded by various fruits as a camouflage.
