The Spokesman of Bahraini police said that the police has defused this evening a booby-trapped car. According to BNA, policemen located two suspicious cars as they were parked at two different places in Manama. The two vehicles turned out to be reported stolen earlier, Capital Police Director-General. The anti-terror squad and the anti-explosive experts searched the two cars and defused the home-made bombs, which were planted in one of the vehicles. Bahraini Civil Defense units had also to intervene to assist in defusing the booby-trapped car. Forensic experts rushed to the scene and collected fingerprints and evidence to identify the perpetrators of the heinous act, which aimed at terrorizing innocent people, and bring them to justice.
