A bus failed to make a curve and plunged 10 metres down a hill Sunday in southern Brazil, killing 14 people. Thirty-two passengers were injured in the accident near Sao Lourenco da Serra, 50 kilometres south of Sao Paulo, dpa reported. The driver was suspected of falling asleep at the wheel, a police spokesman said. Few accidents occur on the well-marked curve, he said. The bus was travelling from Curitiba to Rio de Janeiro when the accident happened.
