Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jeffry, Vice Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, received here today US delegation representing by a number of mayors of US cities. At the outset of the reception, the Vice Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura welcomed the US delegation, stressing depth of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in all fields, particularly in the parliamentary field. Dr. Al-Jeffry also briefed the US delegation on the activities and work mechanisms of Majlis Al-Shura. The reception was attended by a number of officials. Meanwhile, the Saudi-US Parliamentary Friendship Committee of Majlis Al-Shura held a meeting with the US delegation. During the meeting, parliamentary relations and issues of common interest between the two countries were discussed.
