Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jeffri, Deputy Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, received here today Tobias Ellwood, Member of British Parliament and Parliamentary Advisor at the British Foreign Office. During the meeting, the Deputy Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura welcomed the British official, stressing depth of relations between the two countries in the political and economic fields in addition to the parliamentary relations between Majlis Al-Shura and the House of Commons. For his part, the British officials confirmed the importance of enhancing bilateral relations in the political, commercial and economic fields to the best interest of the two countries and peoples in addition to enhancing joint parliamentary cooperation. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
