The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement issued yesterday, " Emanating from the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the expected results of holding and hosting the first session of the Forum of Arab Economy and Cooperation with Countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan scheduled to be held on Muharram 30, 1435 AH corresponding to December 3, 2013 AD; and as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia emphasizes the importance of relations binding the Arab states and the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan without overlooking the economic potentials available to the two sides and seeks for the need to develop joint plans and clear working programs contribute to benefitting from economic and social, cultural and historical relations between the two sides, and along with the importance of ensuring effective participation and representation appropriate for all parties and strong historical and religious distinguished relations binding these countries to ensure the desired results from this forum; and as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is keen on the forum's seriousness and credibility in its results, it was decided to postpone the forum to a later date to be set in consultation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab League and Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan".
