Unemployment in Germany rose for the fourth-consecutive month in November, climbing by 10,000 to 2.985 million people out of work, the labour office said Thursday, according to dpa. Despite the rise, the seasonally adjusted jobless rate was unchanged at 6.9 per cent. "The number of people without jobs has increased slightly in November," labour office chief Frank-Juergen Weise said. "Overall, however, the labour market has remained in line with the developments of previous months." In seasonally unadjusted terms, unemployment rose by 5,000 to 2.806 million.
