The IV News Agencies World Congress (IV-NAWC), currently being hosted by the Kingdom on November 17-21, started its 1st session in Riyadh today in the presence of more than 70 news agencies, and senior officials of institutions of information technology and communication in the world. The President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and President of the IV News Agencies World Congress Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein delivered a speech at the outset of the session welcoming the participants in the Congress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is happy to host it and receive an elite of the leaders and symbols of the media, information technology and communication from different continents of the world. He said, "Our Congress has been supported and patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Premier, and all leaders of the media as the Kingdom recognizes the importance of the role played by news agencies and their responsibilities and the current stage of successive developments at the level of media, information technology and communication that should keep abreast of them. --More 12:30 LOCAL TIME 09:30 GMT تغريد
