Governor of Makkah Region Washes Holy Kaaba

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region, washed in Makkah today the Holy Kaaba.
The Prince was received upon his arrival at the Grand Holy Mosque by President General of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.
The Kaaba was washed by Zamzam water mixed with rose water.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and members of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
