On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region washed the holy "Kaaba" today. Immediately after his arrival, he and his companions washed the inside of the Kaaba with Zamzam water mixed with rose water, and wiped the walls with pieces of cloth wet with this water. Along the Governor, the washing of the Kaaba was also carried out by Prince Sultan bin Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz; Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu; General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais; Vice General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alkhozaim; a number of Ministers, members of the Islamic diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, heads of government departments, Attendants of the Holy Mosque and a group of citizens.
