The Arab Ministers in charge of environment Council has re-elected the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Chairman of the Executive Bureau of the council for the coming two years, it was announced here today. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Omar Al-Jasser, General President of Meteorology and Protection of Environment, who is leading Saudi Arabia's delegation to the 25th session of the bureau said Saudi Arabia was unanimously re-elected as chairman of the office in recognition of its role in support of Arab joint action, particularly in the environmental field. He noted that the new office includes in addition to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Palestine, United Comoro Islands, Iraq, Qatar and Kuwait. The next meeting will be held in Saudi Arabia from 10 - 11 November 2014, Al-Jasser disclosed.
