In a press statement, he said the Arab world ought to occupy its natural place in the world touristy field, citing tourism as the internationally-classified third leading sector in the field of investment and provision of job opportunities. He gave an account on the Saudi touristy development, noting that Saudi Arabia has recently become among countries that witness huge flow of capital in addition to development in the field of tourism. He briefed reporters on the proposals he suggested to the Arab Tourism Council, including the importance of ministerial-level supervision of some touristy files, the fixing of timetables to execute some achievements and contribution of Arab experts in the overall projected tourism projects in the Arab world.
