AlHijjah 15, 1434, Oct 20, 2013, SPA -- The Saudi newspapers highlighted today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Locally, the Saudi newspapers highlighted a reply cable sent by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of Hajj Central Committee, regarding the King's thanks to the security men for their participation in Hajj season. The newspapers added that, under supervision of Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, the Presidency of the Prophet's Mosque recruited more than 5,000 of its staff for implementing plans after Hajj. Regionally, Al-Madinah, Al-Jazirah, Okaz and Al-Sharq newspapers lauded the Kingdom's rejection of accepting the United Nations Security Council non-permanent membership. They described this decision as a historical stance towards the Security Council. They reported that such decision comes as a clear evidence of Saudi Arabia's strong stance towards the values of right and justice and reflects its international status and fair attitudes towards Arab and Islamic issues as well as international ones.
