AlQa'dah 27, 1434, Oct 3, 2013, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues. Al-Watan and Al-Madinah newspapers highlighted the Kingdom's abstention from delivering its speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations, saying that the Kingdom refrained from delivering its speech before the General Assembly of the United Nations to protest against international organizations' attitudes toward the Arab and Islamic issues. Regionally, Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers commented on the developments of the Syrian crisis. On other issues, Al-Sharq newspaper commented on the new rapprochement between the United States and Iran while Al-Bilad newspaper commented on Israel's violations of the rights of Palestinians. Finally, Okaz newspaper commented on the current U.S. government's budget crisis.
