AlQa'dah 25, 1434, Oct 1, 2013, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues. Al-Riyadh newspaper highlighted the high status occupied by the Kingdom under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In another local issue, Al-Bilad newspaper hailed the King's hosting of 1,400 pilgrims from around the world in addition to a thousand Palestinian pilgrims from the families of the martyrs to perform this year's Hajj at the King's own expense. Regionally, Al-Watan newspaper commented on the developments in Egypt while Okaz newspaper commented on the developments of the Syrian crisis. Al-Yaum newspaper commented on Lebanese affairs, criticizing Hezbollah's negative role in Lebanon. Al-Sharq and Al-Madinah newspapers commented on US-Iranian relations. The latter said that in any case, a US-Iranian deal should not be at the expense of Iran's neighbors or continued suffering of the Syrian people.
