Transport Sector Completes Preparations for Serving Pilgrims

AlHijjah 4, 1434, Oct 9, 2013, SPA -- The transport sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has completed its preparations for serving pilgrims through a modern network of air, land and sea transport systems.
The Ministry of Transport announced that it has set its general plan for its activities in this year's Hajj season 1434AH including implementation of the projects of new roads, and maintenance of the existing roads.
The Ministry of Transport allocated more than SR 11 billion from its budget for the year 1434/1435AH for the implementation of 223 projects of roads in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at a length 3,708 kilometers.
