AlQa'dah 27, 1434, Oct 3, 2013, SPA -- King Abdulaziz Library is located at the western part of the Prophet's Holy Mosque in Madinah. It is one of the largest libraries of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance. It combines the properties of the public library, manuscripts center and scientific research. The library is described as an Islamic media scientific center. It is a source of pride of the Kingdom. It enjoys care and support by Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region. The Director of the Library of King Abdulaziz in Madinah Marzouk Al Fayez Al-Rehaily told Saudi Press Agency that the library was founded at the beginning of the year 1393 AH in the courtyard of the Prophet's Mosque from the west when late King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud laid its foundation stone and late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated it in 1403 H. The library includes a large number of the manuscripts of the Holy Quran.
