Under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah region, Sheikh Saleh Al Al-Sheikh,the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, and Dr Ahmad Mohammed Ali, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), will co-sign here tomorrow a contract for the development of King Abdulaziz Library in Madinah. Highlighting the importance of the library, its director general Dr Abdulrahman al-Muzeini said the library includes a manuscripts center and a scientific research center. He noted that the library, established on an area of about 5,500 square meters, is an important Islamic center. It is worth mentioning that the late King Faisal bin Abdulaziz laid the foundation stone of the library in 1393 AH, and it was inaugurated by the Late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz in 1403AH.
