AlQa'dah 11, 1434, Sep 17, 2013, SPA -- The Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has given the expansion of the Prophet's Holy Mosque in Madinah its utmost attention within the framework of the project of the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and developmental works in the holy sites in the service of Muslims. Madinah witnessed late last Hijri year the largest expansion in the history of the Prophet's Mosque when the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud laid the foundation stone for the project that can accommodate two million worshipers after its completion. Madinah was selected this year by the Islamic, Cultural, Educational and Scientific Organization ( ISESCO ) as the capital of Islamic culture.
