AlQa'dah 26, 1434, Oct 2, 2013, SPA -- The second Ministerial Arab-African Meeting on Joint Agricultural Development and Food Security concluded here today. The participants called on the Arab League member countries, the African Union and other regional relevant organizations to activate the current mechanisms in collaboration with governments of the member countries in the two regions to support Arab African cooperation in the field of agricultural development and food security. They also recommended that the facilitation unit ought to attract full-time experts to work with businessmen and other governmental, financial and donors institutions to present proposals to promote cooperation in the field of agricultural investment in the government and private sectors.
