AlQa'dah 26, 1434, Oct 2, 2013, SPA -- Arab ministers of agriculture and their African counterparts began here today their 2nd meeting on the Joint Agricultural Development and Food Security. The Saudi delegation to the meeting is led by the Minister of Agriculture Dr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim, who is chairing the meetings, as he assumed the chairmanship from his Egyptian counterpart Ayman Farid Abu Hadid. A speech ceremony was held on this occasion. In his speech before the participants, Dr. Balghunaim welcomed the participants in the meeting, highlighting that this meeting came to follow-up, continue and intensify Arab and African efforts in field of Arab-African cooperation in achieving food security and sustainable agricultural development.
