The Egyptian Council of the Foreign Affairs lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's stance, stressing that these stance came to support the Egyptian government and people in combating terrorism and conspiracies. This came in message sent by the Council to Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Saudi ambassador to Egypt and permanent representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League. The council added that the noble stances of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards Egypt reflecting the Kingdom's keenness of the Arab solidarity and cohesion. "The recent statement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was highly welcomed by the Egyptian government and people," the message concluded. The council invited the Saudi ambassador to Egypt to convey the greetings and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on this occasion.
