Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, Commander-in-Chief of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Armed Forces, has expressed appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for supporting the Saudi-Egyptian relations. During his meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmad Abdulaziz Qattan, who is also Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Tantawi said that the relations between the two countries can not be affected by any emergency event, stressing Egyptian Government and people's appreciation of the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For his part, Qattan wished Egypt steady progress and prosperity.
