Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday evening. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session that the Cabinet commended the valuable contents of the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, addressed to the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and brothers all over the world on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. The Cabinet stressed that the speech affirmed that Islam is the religion of love, forgiveness, tolerance and that it is a message for building, peace and approach for dialogue, but not for introversion and defeatism, and that it rejects division. The Cabinet also affirmed the speech contents which clarified that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will not allow exploitation of religion as a disguise for hiding extremists, tampering people, and aspirants for their own interests. The Cabinet expressed its thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his attention, care, construction and expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors of pilgrims and Umrah performers to enable them to perform their rituals. The Cabinet commended in this regard the King's order for opening the ground floor, the first floor, the first Mezzanine of the expansion building, and outer North, South and West squares of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for the expansion of the Holy Grand Mosque, which accommodate about 400,000 worshipers, to create an appropriate atmosphere for Umrah performers and worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan. --More 10:41 LOCAL TIME 07:41 GMT تغريد
